My Journey
I’m a first-generation Canadian who immigrated from Kazakhstan with my parents in 2006. My first career was in IT as a backend developer, where I wrote, tested, and improved code for web applications—cultivating a keen eye for detail and problem-solving that now informs my design process.
After participating in the fast-paced GTA real estate market for 12 years, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of thoughtful design. As my passion grew, I returned to school to earn certifications as an interior decorator and home stager. My love for interior design was solidified when I oversaw the finishes and details for our new construction home, ensuring it reflected our family’s style and personality. After relocating to Ottawa at the end of 2018, I established myself as a trusted local designer, helping countless clients through thoughtful renovations and creative decorating. In 2025, I transitioned to working independently to offer more flexible, tailored services that reflect each client’s unique lifestyle.
