This family room started out as a simple sunroom—bright and filled with potential, with wide windows that opened up to views of a quiet golf course and stately trees. It was a beautiful space, but it hadn’t yet become a place the family could truly gather in and enjoy together.
That changed with a full room refresh that centered on both comfort and character. The homeowners wanted a room that felt warm and lived-in, while still reflecting a sense of refined design. We leaned into a grey-blue colour palette that set the stage for a calm, grounding atmosphere. Then came the details—metallic tones in copper, gold, and silver brought life and dimension to the walls, especially through a striking plate installation that added a touch of artistry.
What once felt like an underused transitional space is now a favourite spot in the home—somewhere to pause, unwind, and take in the view. It’s the kind of transformation that shows how thoughtful interior design can turn an ordinary room into a meaningful retreat.
