This multi room project was phased into three sections, beginning with the open concept dining & family room. Our goal was to create a flexible dining area that comfortably seats up to eight people while maintaining a small footprint. This design approach reflects classic design principles, ensuring the space remains open and inviting. The existing wooden china buffet, now painted a gentle blue-gray, enhances the overall colour scheme and adds a touch of timeless elegance.
Upon crossing the sleek, contemporary threshold of their recently purchased home, my clients were greeted by a minimalistic world of straight lines. The couple enjoyed the modern feel of the house, but they missed the warmth and comfort of traditional/classic design. They first sought out my assistance as a decorator to help bring classic and traditional elements back into the space.
Inspired by a series of paintings depicting meadows, the color scheme for this house captures the tranquil tones of green, yellow, rust, and blue.

HOME OFFICE DESIGN
The etageres do more than just offer ample storage for books, office supplies, and decorative items—they’ve become a striking focal point for the client’s personal artwork. They’re a perfect example of how thoughtful home office design can balance both style and function. The open shelving beautifully showcases the artwork, transforming the space into a curated gallery that reflects the client’s unique personality.
This home office makeover also features two desks, each serving a distinct purpose. One desk is equipped with a custom filing cabinet and drawers for small supplies, while the other, positioned against the wall, creates a streamlined and unobtrusive workspace. This smart layout enhances both functionality and aesthetics, fostering an environment that inspires productivity and creativity.
The goal of this home office design was to create an inspiring and functional space. Before the transformation, the room housed office furniture from a previous home, which didn’t suit the new environment. By incorporating two etageres, a filing drawer, and a storage cabinet, the space has been completely transformed into a stylish and organized workspace.

ENSUITE RENOVATION
The original ensuite lacked functionality, and with its 10-foot high ceilings, it felt imposing, empty, and incomplete. Through thoughtful reconfiguration, we added a wider pocket door to make the space more accessible and convenient, creating a balanced design that included a generous shower and a luxurious freestanding tub.
Another key element of this project was the introduction of a spacious single-sink vanity that maximized storage while serving as a striking focal point. The subtle curved tile design seamlessly connected the vanity and shower, giving the room a cohesive and unique look.
The goal of this ensuite renovation was to create a sanctuary that radiated warmth and vitality, a space that felt uplifting and cheerful. By selecting a bright yellow hue for the walls paired with custom cabinetry in a warm honey tone, we crafted an inviting atmosphere that complemented this client’s personal style.
